Salmon fishing in the straights of Juan DeFuca and along the Washington coast is probably one of the last best-kept secrets in saltwater fly-fishing. Its safe to say that this is one of the best opportunities
anywhere to catch salmon on the fly.
Along with all five species of pacific salmon we also regularly see a half dozen varieties bottom fish, including Lingcod and black rockfish. This is the loneliest coast left in the lower 48, miles of rocky beaches and sea stacks, frequent whale sighting and rarely another angler.
Best fishing is from Mid July on through the end of September
Lodging for this fishing can be found in Seiku, Neah Bay or Port Angeles. Seiku has several improved campgrounds that cater to fishermen.
