Accommodations: Saltwater fishing or resident trout
Port Townsend has an endless, and I do mean endless variety of hotels, motels and Bed and Breakfasts. I might recommend The French Door (360) 379-2631,  because it’s new, in a nice quite area, and owned by a couple friends of mine.

Accommodations: Steelhead/ Fall Salmon/ River fishing for cutthroat
Most of the steelhead trips I do start in or near Forks Washington, about two hours west of Port Townsend. For these trips guests should be prepared to spend at least one night in Forks. There are several hotels and lodges available; I generally recommend the cabins at three Rivers Resort and Campground near La Push (360) 374-5300. Three rivers is a friendly family owned operation that caters to fishermen. They have a small store, good hamburgers and very reasonable rates. For those who are looking for plusher accommodations, you might try Olympic suites, or the Bright Water House.

Tackle for your trip

If you want to bring your own rod that’s great. If not let me know and I will throw in absolute top of the line rods, reels and lines for any trip you plan.
You will need to bring your own waders and boots, a fly selection and spare leaders and tippet will also come in handy.
You can call me for details pertaining to specific fly patterns and tippet strength for your trip. Bring more warm clothes than you think you will need, a good raincoat, and polarized sunglasses. I will take care of snacks and a light lunch.
